Volition is a film about sacrifice, and the choices people will make for something that they truly believe in.
The film revolves around Danny, a boy in his late teens, and his mother who is dying of terminal cancer. They have no money, no resources and no where left to turn. There is no hope of saving his mother, only to let her live out the rest of her days in comfort. However, due to a lack of finances and inability to afford insurance, she is about to lose the one thing that can help her, her medication.
Danny faces the harsh reality that the best option to attain his mothers medication, is do so illegally. Danny must struggle with his own beliefs on what is right and just, and his will to help his mother.
