This Biopic follows the Jamaican born Marcus Garvey's meteoric rise as he lands in Harlem in 1916 and shows how the US government (J. Edgar Hoover) along with the Boule (Black secret society) partnered to de-rail the greatest civil rights movement and leader of our time. In just a few years, Marcus Mosiah Garvey amassed a following of two million people through his Universal Negro Improvement Asoociation (UNIA) and changed the culture of Black America by creating a nation within a nation. |
