Synopsis:
Full-figured Shanice Jones tries to make the best of her lot in life. At least she can be a pal and confidant to the pro basketball players her shapely roommate Maya uses and tosses away. But the more Shanice comes to know the athletes, the more it bothers her to watch Maya treat them with such disrespect. Their arguments on the subject cause the once-best friends to grow apart. When the two women meet player Justin Smith, Shanice feels a special bond. She attempts to compete for his affections, but he falls for the gorgeous Maya like all the rest. This time, though, Shanice can't sit by and wait for Maya to mistreat the man she loves. Shanice does everything she can to sabotage their relationship and plant doubts in Justin's mind about Maya's loyalty. When Justin falls out of Maya's spell and into love with Shanice, the astonished Maya plots revenge and the sparks fly.
