Synopsis:
This documentary begins with on-camera interviews with Chris
Sizemore, the real Eve of The Three Faces of Eve. The opening also
includes photos of her and her paintings, and clips from a 1953 documentary
showing her switching personalities, and the feature film, The Three Faces
of Eve. Chris Sizemore provides the voice-over narration for the
documentary and reappears on camera at the end. The documentary tells the
stories of three women with multiple personality through interviews with
the women, interviews with professionals and dramatic re-enactments of
scenes from their lives and therapy sessions. Dr. Ross appears on camera
as host and in re-enactments of therapy sessions. The documentary
concludes with summaries of each case; two of the women no longer suffer
from multiple personality, and one is still in treatment. The main point
made by the documentary is that the women's disorders and memories are a
mixture of reality and illusion. The documentary is geared to a general
broadcast aud
ience. Further information about Dr. Ross and multiple personality can be
obtained on his web page at www.rossinst.com.
