Dobb was born in White Plains NY, he started his film career in the early 90's as a production assistant on the feature film "Ghost", starring Patrick Swayze. After working in production on various shoots in New York, he moved to Colorado and trained with the US World judo team located at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Moving to Aspen he worked as the webmaster for Global Graphics Inc. a Japanese based internet portal. Leaving Colorado for L.A. to re-boot his film career, Dobb began working as a lighting technician, best boy and gaffer on various projects in LA, Orange County and San Diego. Having traveled extensively in South Asia, he has lived in NY, CA, CO, and Japan. He now resides in NYC working as a producer and local cinematographer.
